Are you a Racing Wiz? Have a crack!

October 2, 2012

I’ve always loved trivia, ever since I was a kid. I still remember being about 10 or 11 and winning a jug of beer when I was at trivia with my dad – I think he was happy that night!

It all looked rosy when I appeared on Millionaire: Hot Seat a few years back. Alas, I didn’t know what species of marsupial a bilby was (it’s a bandicoot), so I missed out on my chance for a nice payday. Here’s the last part of that episode, including the fateful question.

Over the last five or six years, I’ve tried to grow my racing knowledge. I think it’s at a point now where it is fairly good, or so I would hope!

Which is why I got excited when I heard about Sky’s new show, The Racing Wiz.

Basically, it is horse racing’s version of Sale Of The Century, or something along those lines. It’s a racing quiz show, a chance to test your racing knowledge against other fans of our great sport.

To enter, you must complete twenty questions online. You’ll be surprised how your brain freezes…and then it comes to you moments after you submitted the wrong answer!

I’d recommend signing up, you never know where you might end up! You could walk away with $10000 at the end of it!

It costs nothing to dream.

I’m not sure I can match people who have half a century’s racing knowledge under their belt, but I sure can try!

So head over to www.theracingwiz.com.au now and put your racing knowledge to the test! Entries close today.

The show will go to air on Mondays and Tuesdays on Sky Racing World from late October. It’s the perfect complement to the spring!
