Group 1 action every Saturday from now until June – an early look

Admirers of the thoroughbred are set for a huge autumn with Group 1 action until June.

Incredibly, from now until June 9, there is a Group 1 somewhere within Australia every Saturday.

Black Caviar’s win in the Orr Stakes yesterday kicked off a monster 18 weeks of Group 1 action.

Here is the schedule of Group 1 races, starting with next weekend:

    I don’t think you’re crazy for trying to tip the Stradbroke in Feb. I do think you’re crazy for picking a horse that is way below G1 level.
