So You Think set to run for history in tonight’s Arc

October 2, 2011

It has been an incredible weekend of racing (I’ll upload my Andrew Hawkins Racing Spring Medal points on Tuesday) but in many ways, the best has been saved until last.

Tonight, So You Think will aim to be the first horse from Australia and New Zealand to win Europe’s best race, the Prix de L’Arc De Triomphe (2400m).

As you would know if you have read my bet of the century post, So You Think is a horse very close to my heart.

It will be absolutely mind-blowing if he can win the Arc, arguably the world’s most prestigious race, at Longchamp in Paris tonight.

I’m very nervous already – hopefully we’ll be reporting on a victory.

Go son!
