Day 5 at Royal Ascot and we celebrate diversity today – from the stayers over 1200m in our feature, the Golden Jubilee, to the extreme long distance stayers in the Queen Alexandra Stakes over the equivalent of 4300m!

Just Horse Racing’s Andrew Hawkins has had an interesting carnival, with two sensational days in the middle bookended by two ordinary days either side of that.

How will he end the world’s most famous racing carnival?

Unfortunately, after a day at Rosehill and with a mate’s 21st tonight, he is unable to give readers as comprehensive a preview as previous days.
